“Sahasak Nimewum” National Invention Exhibition

This will be a grand event organized by the Sri Lanka Inventor Commission during the year 2012.

Competitions will be held under the following categories at the “Sahasak Nimewum” National Invention Exhibition.

1.Competition of School Inventions
2.Competition of Tertiary and Vocational Training Institute and University student inventions
3.Open Competition [Individual inventors and organizations (Government or Private)]

The school inventions will be selected by the SLIC at provincial level to showcase at the “Sahasak Nimewum” Invention Exhibition   in collaboration with the IESL at their provincial level invention selection series for the Junior Inventor of the Year Competition.

The inventions which come under 22 technical fields will be considered for awards. There will be 07 special awards for the inventions which contribute most to the identified fields of national interest by the SLIC. The 03 “Dasis” Awards will be presented for the most outstanding inventions which come under the above 03 main categories.
