HackAnDroid-Sri Lanka 2012

Google Developer Group Sri Lanka is a set of technology enthusiast people from all over the country sharing their knowledge with others while gaining experience from Industry super stars, to uplift the industry.

This is an event open to all Sri Lankans. Applications can be submitted from 1st of August to 14th of October 2012.

Eligibility

Being a Sri Lankan citizen is the only requirement to be eligible for the competition.

For an Application to be eligible :

• Application should not be a duplicate of a published app.
• All the source code and resources should have open source license (you must release your code under any Open source license of your preference)
• Application cannot be published in Google Play or any other Android market until 5th of November.
• Contestant must be prepared to answer any question regarding the developed app.
• Application should only be uploaded to your own Google Drive and that apk file should be shared with submissions@hackandroid.info (Closing date is 14th of October 23:59 Sri Lanka standard time)
• You need to Open source your code after the deadline of app submission date (you must submit the apk before the date. contestants who are unable to publish the source code will not be eligible for the competition) 
• A team can be composed with 1 to 3 members

All contestants are encouraged to develop a solution which address a burning problem in Sri Lanka with a creative, innovative solution but limitation is only your imagination so, build anything to win 3 Brand new Nexus 7 tabs.
