Career in Quality Assurance

I have a degree in Computing & client service experience at a bank. I now want to switch to the IT industry, specifically to the Quality Assurance sector.

Since you are already established in this field, could you pls let me know the following:

1) How do I get started in QA? (are their companies that provide training?)

2) Do you think it's a good idea to get a qualification in QA?

3) If yes, in your opinion what's the best qualification to obtain? &

4) where do you lecture?
