Security Guru Bruce Schneier to speak on “Reconceptualizing Security” at Microsoft Tech.Ed 2010

Microsoft’s premier technology event Tech.Ed 2010 will experience the presence of one of the technology world’s most acclaimed celebrities, American cryptographer, Computer Specialist and writer Bruce Schneier. Mr. Schneier is an internationally renowned security technology specialist. He will share his knowledge on “Reconceptualizing Security” a timely topic in today’s business context.

Founder and Chief Technology Officer of BT Counterpane, Mr. Schneier was dubbed the “Security Guru” by the Economist for his outstanding list of best selling books, articles and essays. His influential internet newsletter "Crypto-Gram," and his blog "Schneier on Security," are read by over 250,000 people worldwide. He has testified before Congress, is a frequent guest on television and radio, served on several government technical committees. Mr. Schneier is frequently quoted in the press on computer and other security issues, pointing out flaws in security and cryptographic implementations ranging from biometrics to airline security after the September 11, 2001 attacks. He also writes "Security Matters", a regular column for Wired Magazine.
