Milestone Document Management Project started with Department of Immigration and Emigration Sri Lanka

One of the largest electronic document management project in Sri Lankan history started recently with Department of Immigration and Emigration Sri Lanka. Under this project Sanje Lanka Private Limited provide all the technologies and resources to digitize & index passport related documents enabling online search, retrieval and manipulation.
The first phase will begin by digitizing of 10.5 million records within a short spell of 6 month project period. Sanje Lanka will deploy industry standard document capture setup with daily throughput volume of 80,000 pages to meet the expected project deadline.
The key goals of this project includes,
- Reducing the cost on file storage space
- Reducing cost of finding records, implement productive electronic document management environment with enterprise search, online retrieval and sharing
- Implement proper disaster recovery setup with electronic backups
