AIESEC Sri Lanka presents ‘Youth to Business Forum’

AIESEC is the world’s largest student-run organization bringing together more than 60,000 members from over 100 countries in the world. AIESEC offers leadership and international exchange and skill development opportunities for youth around the world in its efforts to achieve its vision: "Peace and fulfilment of Humankind’s Potential."

For 16 years AIESEC in Sri Lanka has been making an impact through its many programmes ranging from international exchange programme opportunities for youth to projects based on education and entrepreneurship to leadership development and youth empowerment. Present in public as well as private higher education providers, the specialty of the activities that are carried out by the national chapter of AIESEC is that it brings together youth from Sri Lanka as well as youth from across the globe to make an impact on our society.

In an effort to bring together the corporate world and the youth of Sri Lanka, AIESEC in Sri Lanka presents the AIESEC in Sri Lanka Youth to Business Forum. This event aims to bring together youth from around Sri Lanka and top leaders in the social and business world to explore topics relevant to our society today and to explore how youth and the business worlds can merge to make a collaborative positive impact through their actions.

The Sri Lanka Youth to Business Forum will include panel discussion and workshops involving youth and business leaders to discuss topics such as youth empowerment, Corporate Social Responsibility and Innovation and entrepreneurship.

Expecting a physical attendance of over 600 youth, the Youth to Business forum to be held on the 17th of December 2011 at the premises of the University of Sri Jayawardenapura will also be live streamed extending is reach to all those who would want to participate virtually.
