Lanka’s largest educational exhibition concludes

EDEX Expo 2012, Sri Lanka’s largest education and careers exhibition commenced last Friday at the BMICH. There were over 250 stalls from various institutions. Edex expo is the only twin mega exhibition in the country, the next will be held at the Kandy City Centre from January 27 - 28.

This is one of the largest educational and careers exhibition in Sri Lanka, after a tremendous success both in Colombo and Kandy last year. Main objective of the exhibition is to help youth to select the right higher education and improve market-relevant skills vital to gain employment. Reputed universities from USA, UK, Russia, the Middle East, South Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

Many local vocational and technical institutions representing both government and private sector participated at the exhibition. EDEX offers numerous benefits for thousands of students in the country to plan their future through competitive opportunities irrespective of the level in education. EDEX Expo 2012 is the premier event in the field of higher education, be it vocational training, skills development and careers. Edex Expo 2011 was held last January with the participation of over 50,000 visitors.
