The IFS recorded 28 percent growth in South Asia during the first six months of the year.

Q:Can you briefly elaborate on IFS Sri Lanka?
IFS Sri Lanka started in 1997, and is one of the first Foreign Direct Investments (FDIs) in Sri Lanka. We started small and we are today a Rs. 1.5 billion foreign exchange generating company.

Saab extends corporate agreement with IFS

Saab has extended its corporate agreement with IFS to position the Saab Group for new business opportunities. In addition to the corporate contract signed in June 2009, Saab will implement IFS Eco-footprint Management and IFS Export License Management, the latter as part of the Saab-IFS partnership offering. Under the terms of the agreement, IFS will call off SKr 11 million in December 2010, of which SKr 8 million pertains to software licenses.

It will enable Sri Lankan IT BPO industry to achieve the US $ two billion revenue in five years time, IFS South Asia Vice President Jayantha De Silva told Daily News business.
