There is a big demand for professionals in Java technology since the business world is expanding rapidly creating more opportunities for Java professionals Head of Academics - Java Technologies, ICBT Campus, Rajitha U. Kuruppumulle told the Daily News Business.
Sri Lanka’s Java professionals are highly appreciated and trusted for their quality and they stand high in the international market with practical knowledge compared to other countries in the region.
He said that many foreign projects are directed to Sri Lanka since Java professionals in Sri Lanka can deliver a better service than their counterparts in other countries. In terms of average marks in Sun Certified examinations, Sri Lankans scored second place in the world.

ICBT Campus to offer cutting edge IT certification testing system

ICBT Campus has signed an agreement with Pearson VUE, the electronic certification and licensure testing business of Pearson Education, to provide Information Technology certification test delivery using the Pearson VUE Testing System.
The Pearson VUE advanced computer-based testing system administers examination for leading IT certification programs such as Cisco, CompTIA, Citrix, Novell and others through a global network of quality test centres.
"We're very excited about our new partnership with Pearson VUE," said Director/General Manager of ICBT Campus Mohan Pathirana.
